Apple Holler

About Us

Fun Wagon Rides!
Welcome
At this family-run business, we are more than an orchard and restaurant.  We have a gift shop, bakery, live musical theatre plays for children and adults, barnyard animals to visit, and hayrides, to name a few.  We'll also cater food for any occasion, with our pig roasts being very popular. While Dave runs the day-to-day operations of the orchard and restaurant, the rest of the family helps out in many other areas, including the bakery, the gift shop, doing the web site and organizing the tours.  It all adds up to a busy place where we are dedicated to healthy apple growing and family entertainment.

What Are We About?

The Restaurant has menu items touched with the magic of apples, we're as American as apple pie. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday thru Sunday.  Breakfast is served from 7:00 am until 11:00 am and Lunch and Dinner begin at 11:00.  On the weekends we serve our weekend breakfast buffet from 8 am until noon.  The restaurant holds 90 and our beautiful porch area holds 50 people.  So, come give us a taste you won't be disappointed!

Our Red Barn Theatre presents various children's and musical shows. The children's shows are open to groups through reservations.  The dinner theatre is held in the dining room and includes wine and cheese tasting, dinner, dessert, and a performance of the current musical comedy.  Groups or individuals are welcome with reservations.

Our Gift shop & Bakery still has the original floor from the days when Apple Holler was a cow barn back in the 1960's.  It is now filled with a wide variety of items such as Door County Wisconsin premium wines, beautiful giftware, organic lotions and powders and much more. The Bakery inside the Gift Shop is home to our amazing fresh baked pies, pastries, apple cinnamon nut bread, and Apple Cider made right from apples that were grown in our orchard.

The Orchard/Farm consists of 75 beautifiul acres with over 13,000 apple trees with over thirty varieties of apples.  The Orchard is host to our pumpkin patches, pear trees, hay wagon rides, sleigh rides and if you'd like you could have your family or company picnic in our picnic area located in the heart of orchard.

History of Apple Holler

Apple Holler has a long, interesting history. In the 1960's, the barn was a working dairy farm. The floor in the gift shop is the original floor from the days of the cows. In 1970, Clayton Berry purchased the barn and the land around it and began planting apple trees. The orchard and restaurant were known as Berrylea.  In 1987 Dave and the Flannery Family took over Berrylea, and re-named it Apple Holler.
