Mark Twain

Revisited

with Parker Drew

April 26 – May 15, 2010

Mark TwainTo honor the centennial of the death of an iconic author and speaker, Apple Holler’s Red Barn Theatre is proud to bring to its stage, Mark Twain Revisited with Parker Drew. Delighting audiences across the United States for the past thirty years, this one-man tour-de-force brings the brilliant humor and sage wisdom of Samuel Clemens to life in a re-creation of Mark Twain’s persona as the most sought after speaker of his day. It is fair to say that Mark Twain invented stand-up comedy as we know it today. Each performance of Mark Twain Revisited is unique, as Parker Drew chooses each performance program from over four hours of material. Partially scripted and partially improvised (as Twain’s own lectures were structured), no two shows are exactly alike. Guests are sure to enjoy this afternoon or evening of comedy, wit and a delicious themed meal in the intimate personal setting of The Red Barn Theatre. Mark Twain Revisited is available for a short time only, so be sure to make reservations early, so you don’t miss out on, “The kind of show where your face hurts from laughing and smiling”
